Bounty System
What the Bounty is
Section titled “What the Bounty is”The Bounty (in game, the Bounty Board) is a player-funded head-hunting system: you put adena on another character and whoever kills them takes it. It runs from the Community Panel and opens with the .bounty command.
The essentials, before the detail:
- The target shows an orange name and a red skull above their head, and anyone can attack them without Ctrl.
- Whoever kills them is paid automatically: there is nothing to claim.
- If they die while the bounty is active, the target loses experience, and the bigger the bounty, the more they lose.
- A new bounty does not go live right away: there is a grace period in which the target is warned but nobody can attack them because of it.
Posting a bounty
Section titled “Posting a bounty”
- Type
.bountyin chat and click Post (Publicar). - Enter the target character’s exact name and click Next (Siguiente).
- Type the amount in adena. The board shows the minimum in adena and it follows the market price of adena, so it tracks inflation and changes over time. In the screenshot below it was 100,000 Adena.
- Click Preview (Vista previa), check the numbers and Confirm (Confirmar).
You cannot post a bounty on yourself, on a GM, or on someone in your clan or alliance.

A platform fee of 10% is taken from every contribution. What is left, the net bounty, is what gets added to the prize:
| Example | Adena |
|---|---|
| Amount you post | 100,000 |
| Fee | −10,000 |
| Net bounty added | 90,000 |
The fee is never refunded, not even if the bounty expires or the target surrenders.

Increasing a bounty
Section titled “Increasing a bounty”If the target already has a pending or active bounty, a second one is not created: what you add is added to the same one, and any player can do it (including whoever posted it). Use Details → Increase Bounty (Aumentar recompensa), or post again on the same name.
- Adding needs a much lower minimum than creating: 25,000 Adena, flat (it does not follow the exchange rate).
- The same fee applies.
- You can contribute to at most 5 different targets at once.
- There is no cap on a bounty's total.
Every contribution raises the total and, with it, what the target loses on death (see below).
Reading the board
Section titled “Reading the board”
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Target | The character with a bounty |
| Reward | The net total so far |
| XP | The experience-loss multiplier (x2, x3…) |
| Seen at | The last area where they were spotted |
| Time | The countdown: what is left until it goes live and, once active, until it expires |
| Action | Details opens the bounty’s sheet |
Amount, Name and Recent (Monto, Nombre, Recientes) sort the list. On the left, My contributions (Mis aportes) lists the bounties you funded, My claims (Mis cobros) the ones you collected, and Ranking and Help (Ayuda) complete the menu.

The target’s XP loss
Section titled “The target’s XP loss”If someone kills the target and collects the bounty, the target loses multiplied experience: the normal loss for their level times a multiplier that depends on the size of the bounty.
The calculation starts from the basic, the minimum to post, which the board shows in adena and which follows the market price. A net bounty of one basic gives x2, and each additional basic adds 1 to the multiplier, up to a cap of x10. It rises continuously with every contribution; the table shows the whole steps. What counts is the net bounty (the one the board shows), not what each person paid. Since the minimum changes with the market, the steps are measured in multiples of the minimum, not in fixed adena.
| Net bounty | Example with a minimum of 100,000 | Loss multiplier |
|---|---|---|
| 1 × the minimum | 100,000 Adena | x2 |
| 2 × the minimum | 200,000 Adena | x3 |
| 3 × the minimum | 300,000 Adena | x4 |
| 4 × the minimum | 400,000 Adena | x5 |
| 5 × the minimum | 500,000 Adena | x6 |
| 6 × the minimum | 600,000 Adena | x7 |
| 7 × the minimum | 700,000 Adena | x8 |
| 8 × the minimum | 800,000 Adena | x9 |
| 9 × the minimum | 900,000 Adena | x10 |
The normal loss is a percentage of the experience of the level you are on, and it shrinks as you level up. The multiplier applies on top of that percentage. What to know:
- It only counts if the prize is actually collected. If nobody can collect it (for example, a clan or alliance member kills them) or they die to a monster, it is a normal death.
- Nothing reduces it: not a peace zone, not PvP, not a clan war, not a Premium account.
- It is not recoverable: the lost exp does not come back on resurrection.
- They cannot lose a level: the loss stops at the start of the current level, so the target can be drained to 0% of the level but never drops one.
- With a subclass: if you are playing a subclass, the loss is taken from your base class and calculated with the base level. Switching to a low subclass does not dodge it.
Timings
Section titled “Timings”A bounty goes through three moments:
| Moment | What happens | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Grace (pending) | The target is warned, but cannot be attacked because of it and is not penalized. It can still be increased. The target cannot surrender yet. | 60 min |
| Active | Orange name, red skull, attackable without Ctrl. Whoever kills them is paid, and the target loses exp. | 24 h from when it goes live |
| Resolved | Collected, expired or surrendered. | Afterwards, nobody can post another bounty on that target for 7 days |
The server announces it in chat: when it is posted, when it goes live and when it is collected. In the bounty’s detail, Time left (Restante) shows the countdown.
There is one more timer, between hunter and target: whoever collected a bounty on a target cannot collect another on the same target until 60 min have passed.
Surrendering and expiring
Section titled “Surrendering and expiring”An active bounty has three endings, and each splits the adena differently. With a net bounty of 90,000 (a single contributor who put in 100,000):
| Ending | The target pays | For the contributors |
|---|---|---|
| Collected | — | The hunter receives 90,000; contributors get nothing back |
| Surrendered | 45,000 | 45,000 is refunded |
| Expired | — | 67,500 is refunded |
- Surrendering: the target can pay 50% of the bounty’s total to cancel it, from the board. What they pay leaves the game, and each contributor is refunded that same percentage of their net contribution. It is not allowed during the grace period, and surrendering costs no exp.
- Expiring: if 24 h pass active with nobody collecting it, each contributor is refunded 75% of their net contribution; the rest is destroyed.
- The fee on each contribution is not refunded in any case.
Anti-abuse rules
Section titled “Anti-abuse rules”The system is built so the bounty cannot be collected inside the target’s own group. These rules always apply:
- When posting or increasing: not on yourself, on a GM, or on someone in your clan or alliance. Nor on a target whose previous bounty was resolved less than 7 days ago, and each player is limited to 5 targets at a time.
- When collecting: whoever kills the target is not paid if they share the target’s IP or HWID (that is, it is the same player on another account), if they are in their clan or alliance, or if they are still in the 60 min cooldown on that same target.
- When the payout is rejected, the death is normal: the target does not suffer the multiplied loss.
On the other hand, whoever posted or increased the bounty is paid if they are the one who kills the target: contributing does not disqualify you.
Bounty Hunter NPC
Section titled “Bounty Hunter NPC”The Bounty Hunter is an NPC that opens the Bounty Board when you talk to it, just like the .bounty command. For now there are no Bounty Hunters in the towns: their automatic spawns are disabled while their model is under review, and the board opens with .bounty. When they return, they will be covered in this section.
