Manufacture

Crafting on request is the other side of manufacture stores: instead of walking the towns looking for someone who crafts what you need, you search the item by name and the system tells you which dwarves have it in their store and what they charge.

Finding an item

In the Community Board (alt+b) → Services → Manufacture, at the bottom.

Browse Crafts opens the catalogue of everything that can be crafted on the server right now. For each item you see the cheapest fee available and how many stores offer it. The lists sort by clicking the header of any column, ascending or descending, and filter with the search box on the left.

View opens the list of dwarves crafting that item, cheapest first, with their level, the fee and which town they are in.

And Details shows the full card: the recipe’s chance, the crafter, their store title, the fee and the location.

You bring the materials

The card says Materials: Supplied by the buyer. The crafter provides the recipe and the work; the materials are on you, plus the fee shown. The recipe’s chance is what it is: if the craft fails, the materials are gone anyway.

The Go to Store button

It teleports you to the crafter’s town and then walks you to them.

Two things to keep in mind, because it is an ordinary teleport:

• It costs the same as any teleport to that town. It is not free for being part of the service.
• Your character must not be restricted from teleporting. If you cannot use a GK at that moment, this button will not work either.

Opening your own store

What character you need

The skill is Create Item , and only dwarves learn it. Which recipes you can craft depends on the skill level, and the skill level on your character level:

The Warsmith is the one who reaches level 9, the maximum, at 70.

How you get listed

This service only lists: unlike Private Stores or the Crystal Store, it has no panel to create the store from the Community Board. There is nothing to enable and no My Store to open.

The mechanism is direct: any character with the skill opens their manufacture store in town, like on any server, and the listing picks it up on its own. You choose the recipes you will offer, set a fee for each and a title for the store, and from that moment you show up in the catalogue for the whole server.

The system’s own help says it, under How to Use → Get Listed:

Open your own Dwarven Manufacture store in town and it appears here automatically.

The service costs nothing: you do not pay to be listed. The only things paid are the crafter’s fee and the item’s materials, and those are on whoever orders the work.
