Ashenvale Rules
1. About these Rules
Section titled “1. About these Rules”1.1. Validity of the rules
Section titled “1.1. Validity of the rules”- 1.1.1. These rules are valid from their publication until further notice, and revoke any previous set of rules.
- 1.1.2. Connecting to the Server or downloading the software implies full acceptance of these rules.
1.2. Rules and their Updates
Section titled “1.2. Rules and their Updates”- 1.2.1. The Ashenvale staff reserves the right to remove, add or modify clauses of these rules as they see fit, without prior notice.
- 1.2.2. Not knowing the rules contained here, or their updates, cannot be used as a justification for breaking them.
- 1.2.3. Updates will be announced through the server’s channels. The words “Rules Updated” alone will suffice.
- 1.2.4. Users are advised to check this document periodically to keep up with any changes.
2. User Regulations
Section titled “2. User Regulations”2.1. Character Creation
Section titled “2.1. Character Creation”- 2.1.1. Character, clan or alliance names may not relate to or allude to STAFF names. Breaking this results in a BAN for the user and any related accounts.
- 2.1.2. Any user with an inappropriate name may be permanently banned or deleted without prior notice.
- 2.1.3. The Staff reserves the right to admit, or not, characters on the server.
2.2. Personal Identifiers
Section titled “2.2. Personal Identifiers”- 2.2.1. “Personal Identifiers” (the data that proves ownership of a character) are fixed and cannot be modified by the Staff.
- 2.2.2. Currently, the only valid Personal Identifier is the Serial Code sent to your email when the account was created.
- 2.2.3. Using a false or invalid identifier voids any possibility of claiming ownership of the character.
- 2.2.4. It is the only tool for requesting actions from the STAFF regarding accounts or characters. Without access to it, requests will not be processed.
- 2.2.5. If the Identifier is shared with several people, any request to the Staff is void. Sharing it is not necessary to play in a clan or party; doing so makes the account insecure.
2.3. General Guidelines and Third-Party Software
Section titled “2.3. General Guidelines and Third-Party Software”- 2.3.1.1. Cheat use by other users must be reported immediately.
- 2.3.1.2. Any behaviour that undermines the normal running of the game will be penalised.
- 2.3.1.3. Misuse of the chat may be penalised at the STAFF’s discretion.
- 2.3.1.4. PK characters (above level 30) are not allowed to remain in starter towns.
- 2.3.1.5. Sitting to buy or sell in a way that obstructs high-traffic areas, Gatekeepers or Warehouse Keepers is not allowed.
- 2.3.2. Exploiting a bug must be reported. NOT reporting it may result in permanent suspension.
- 2.3.3. If another person uses your character with forbidden software, the account will be penalised, regardless of who is physically responsible.
- 2.3.4. Penalties vary at the STAFF’s discretion, case by case.
- 2.3.5. Every user is responsible for their own actions and for anything done with their accounts if they share them.
- 2.3.6. The absence of a specific rule does not mean bad behaviour is approved; the STAFF will judge each case.
- 2.3.7. Proven item theft from lent accounts results in a permanent BAN. To investigate this, 500 Ashenvale Coins must be paid for the log review.
- 2.3.8. Anyone who hides information about an infraction will be considered an accomplice.
2.4. Unfounded Accusations
Section titled “2.4. Unfounded Accusations”- 2.4.1. Unfounded or slanderous public accusations against the STAFF will be severely sanctioned.
- 2.4.2. Reports must come with evidence; otherwise they will be dismissed.
2.5. Disagreements with Staff Decisions
Section titled “2.5. Disagreements with Staff Decisions”- 2.5.1. Forcing changes to Staff decisions will not be allowed.
- 2.5.2. Appeals must be respectful. Vulgar or abusive language voids the right to appeal.
- 2.5.3. Using channels other than those specified (such as the general chat) for complaints voids the right to a valid appeal.
- 2.5.4. Appeals must refer only to the penalty applied.
- 2.5.5. Rumours without solid grounds will be ignored.
- 2.5.6. The only valid channel for appeals is the “Support/Reports” forum. Private messaging has no validity.
- 2.5.7. In-game complaints will not be considered.
2.6. Expulsions and Sanctions

- 2.6.2. Administrators have the authority to apply special sanctions at their discretion.
- 2.6.3. The STAFF will sanction according to the time they have available to verify the facts, and may take special circumstances into account.
3. Important Clarifications and RMT (Real Money Trade)
Section titled “3. Important Clarifications and RMT (Real Money Trade)”- 3.1. The STAFF reserves the Right of Admission and Permanence.
- 3.2. The STAFF is not responsible for what users do.
- 3.3. Downloading and installing the software is at the user’s own risk.
- 3.4. The STAFF has no responsibility over users’ personal computer security.
- 3.5. The user is entirely responsible for their account. In case of theft, there is no right to demand a refund. There is a paid investigation service, subject to STAFF evaluation.
- 3.6. If a lent character uses exploits, the account owner is the one penalised.
💰 Policy on Buying/Selling for Real Money (RMT):
- 3.7. We do NOT penalise buying and selling items for real money.
- 3.8. If a real-money transaction causes problems for the server and forces the staff to step in, the accounts involved may be blocked outright.
- 3.9. STRICT RULE: we only allow RMT advertising in the specific Discord channel created for it. Any advertising by another method, and especially talking about RMT inside the game, will be penalised.
